I thought you were in the Satellite Beach area? I'm guessing much further south with those water temps. Water dropped down to the low 50's last day or two up here in Jax. Forecasts are saying it will be in the 60's up here in a week and a half but that seems like a long shot to say the least. Although, I'm just happy I'll get to see the sun and have air temps in the 70's the next few days.
whalerus - you sound small. are you the same size as your best friend? can't see over the steering wheel? try pillows. can't reach the pedals? try blocks. you have them.
Yeah man I think we hit rock bottom. Water is back up to 38 degrees. Spring is comin!!! I can feel it in my nuggets.
Ah you know there's some little nuggetz out there this morning..breaking on what resembles an ice rink..I ain't see no hockey players or surfres for that matter though.. Currently in the great city of drugz, murder and brotherly love the sun is out..shinning through the office window and making me feel good aboutz life..Soon the skateparks and concrete jungles will be unearthed by the melting snow..fine womenz will take to the board walk parading their newest running sneakers and yoga pants..ah and their ass-sets who doesn't like evaluating those assetz..and we all can't wait to shed some rubber.. Before you know some of youz will be on here complaining about summer crowdz and how ****ty long period swells are..I mean I think sometimez Doug hatez surfing so much I don't know why he still does it.. This is NJ dudez..we ain't got the best waves in the world but we gotz the best waves on the East Coast..Embrace dudez
just checked acnj. wind and air temp cut like dagger. water i just cant or wont. nobody out; of course i saw a nice 3footer...
Really? So jealous! I'm not made for this snowy cold weather & I miss being in the ocean. I will have to take a trip down to Florida with temps like that!
A 3-footer ? Hawaiian or New Jerseyian? Ahh, I blew-off today. I was thinking of the post-work deal, but it was 12 inches last night at dark, light winds projected to go at least SW by dark.
Oh,Ms. Campbell we really don't encourage communication between the four females who grace us with their presence. Please try and keep that in mind. Thanks !! Toodles......
blowing it off was the way to go. the popular spot was good at 3ft sets but the cold air/wind cut like a knife.
Like, you currently live there? Do you smoke herb? How boot pills/dope? If you live in Hammonton, and aren't uptight and sh!t let me know. You may be able to drive me around. Do you know Fredo Burgos? I'll tip-you-off on better spots than The Ventnor Pier.
are you ready to convert to islam when retiring in one of these areas?i read a story a few weeks ago on surfline about the guy who found lances right or one of those fancy waves, and said he converted to islam to show his appreciation to the natives.lol.sounds stupid but when u live amongst them u mindswell join. mexico is the place to retire to.empty waves, cheap,u can get a semi mansion(big house) on the beach for 300k which is phukin great.i watched an episode of buying Hawaii yesterday, they tried to sell some couple a treehouse(literally) on 4 acres of land in the deserts of maui where there is no electric, plumbing,or running water for $800,000.I could build the treehouse house for 1500 bucks.never retire to hawaii
Yes indeed. Woulda been too cold for me to just board shorts it, but the young gals seemed to do fine. The guys were in 3/2s. Though...sometimes ai think young girls put up with freezing for the sake of fashion
That's crazy about Hawaii lol way to capitalize on the hype. As of Maldives, I'm not sure about Islam, seeing their geographic locale I'd think more Hinduism/Buddhism, not that there's a lot of people there anyway. Either way, Id like to think that I'm not readily persuaded into any school of thought or ideology, although those shallow reef formations to bring questions of God and creation into mind. Mindswell dude.
Better, it's whatever you want it to be. Usually accompanied by dreamsurfing, like... nose riding upright and facing back to the wave through an emerald barrel, getting mind blown on the experience
