I never got the whole looting thing. If you are pissed at the police, go after the police. Grow some real balls. Nah, instead they attack innocent unarmed people and local privately owned businesses. That's what your local news does, all the way up to the big dogs too. Pimping prepackaged fear with a side of hate and discontent. The prez isn't any better. The celebrity in chief had no business stirring this up last night or sending his people down there for the funeral. Back to the news crews though. They're basically hanging out down there egging on the situation. If they weren't there, the riots wouldn't have happened (ok, maybe wouldn't have been as severe). Everybody loves the camera and everyone acts drastically different when the film is rolling. Anyone with kids knows a temper tantrum will end when you walk away but will start up again as soon as you peek in. Who should have the film rolling all the time? The police. Get that dude that sells GoPro mouth mounts and strap-on accessories a contract to keep the cops filming. Back to the news again. The first graphic they rolled showed the demographics of the grand jury. 4 black, 6 white I think. Sounds like whites won. That's exactly what they want you to feel too. Imagine how you'd feel if you were the underdog. The media is dragging this out, portraying and prolonging stereotypes and exploiting people for ratings. It's sickening. One last thing. Leaving the dead kid on the street in the middle of summer for over 4 hours was just a very bad idea. Take a cue from the hunger games and get that ish out before it starts to stink.
^^^^Agreed. Is there *any* American media outlet that doesn't currently have a biased political agenda? I was part of a seminar recently that had a noted Intelligence "expert". He stated that if an American wanted a true source of information, he or she would need to seek out a media source outside of the U.S. It makes sense. I can't even bear to watch any type of U.S. news anymore, whether it be the electronic media or the print. Everything is just too "slanted" in one direction or the other.

White people kidnapped your great grandparents and made them work on farms over there, and now we shoot your kids. Sure there are lots of details that go into that, but if I were on the kidnapped/shot end of things, I might want to toss a brick at a buzz cut douchey cop too. There is the whole "some cops are cool while some are over-militarized argument". Sure. And on an individual basis, etc., whatever. I grew up skateboarding and getting chased by cops before I had pubes. In my world there are two types of people: people who think cops suck, and people with micro-*****es. So before you chime in on that one, just remember that its a confession to having a micro-peen. Here is a thought----the job that should require the absolute most psychological screening is police officer. If you're slightly off, you shouldn't have a gun and authority. Except Germany, Norway, Finland, Ireland, Canada, the Netherlands, and all the other places where college is affordable and healthcare doesn't bankrupt you.
