    Ahh, I like those guys.

Everybody should just come to Atlantic City and hang under the boardwalk.......with the feral cats, gamblers and addicts. AC's got surf, the boardwalk scene(above and below), hookers, African Americans, African Americans with crack, slot machines, "free" drinks(gotta have the tips to keep the scantily clad waitresses coming back), Baby J, and some quality food.

Dude, the boardwalk is a strange.......strange..........strange place.

If you're coming down hit me a PM and I'll let you know what the current scene is...........or at least what I know at the time. I tend to stick to one place these days.

You've heard of Deal, NJ , though, right. That's where the cool kids hang out. Too northerly for my taste, though. I swear to Hey Zues that I'm going to LBI soon. I haven't been there since 2007.

Man, I used to be so mobile. I was everywhere all on the same day. My Masarati does 185/ I lost my license now I don't drive......... Dang government and their chemtrails...........

been to deal, the casino pier and cape may area. such fun waves in jersey. if forecasting swell were as easy as the west coast i'd drive the 4hrs to get there all the time. no problem. should have gone on that andrea swell. was in NYC the night before but wife wasn't having it. cried about it the whole way up north. saw the pics. insane.

A0, wow, you've actually been to Deal? I never thought out-of-state folks would end up there.

Yeah Casino Pier was the bomb. I used to frequent that place many moons ago. It's gone now, man. It's gone.......

Actually, surf forecasting is fairly simple during the seasons of swell. Low comes, it percipitates, the wind blows, waves build, low goes off coast, wind goes offshore. Yeah, it can get more complicated at times, but that's it, basically, in the shell of a nut.

You're stoke of New Jersey is interesting. I've never seen a non-resident so excited aboot The Garden State. I know you are from the left coast so let me tell you aboot east coast mannerisms and conventions: You're suppossed to hate New Jersey. Just ax the guys from North Carolina and Florida. They all dislike us and the state as a whole.

i like the waves in jersey. fun peaky hollow beach breaks. it can hit hard! blowing sand out the back of waves. i love that sh!t. in fact, probably the best waves i've surfed on the east coast were in jersey.

if you come to NJ just don't take offense when people are rude or if they profile you. It's because we get profiled wherever we go. I was just in SNC or Erockville, and I had my gobs of hair gel, wife beater tee, and fake tan working. When I cross the street and came face to face with white people they swerve to avoid me. When I was in an elevator with a woman she clutched at her purse until I got off. When I was walking in a gated community some big wannebe cop was 'stalking me'. That's why we're rude.
    (DISCLAIMER)
I really look more like a big nasty biker than a Guido so that may have something to do with it.

I've seen a guy(same one??) fighting a trash can on the streets in AC.....on two separate occasions.

Like, actually, stalking it and talking trash(no pun intended) before he struck...........

    I'm not sure who won.

Do you know why I don't like that show Jersey Shore?

Because, for one thing, most of them were from New York, and secondly, they weren't characters at all. Wow, they got stupid when they drank. So does everybody.

Those people aren't even considered interesting by our standards. And that Situation dude never had an opiate addiction. Real dopers don't care aboot chasing poon. Really.

On my way to work I drive through a pretty wild area... I'm at my desk by 6:30am, so the only people on the streets are chemically dependent, crazy, or queuing up on the muster line for a day's work. Some of the funny stuff I've seen are... a guy beating the crap out of an invisible person, a guy literally stepping right over an unconscious woman laying across the sidewalk without so much as a glance downward at her, a woman dressed completely head-to-toe in bright neon lime green, including her braided hair, and a big, fat, black, toothless hooker chasing my car from a red light I was stopped at because I dared to look at her when she threw herself up against my car and shoved her head in my open driver's side window to ask me if I needed a date (well... first she asked for a quarter). The scene I saw fading away in my rear view mirror as I sped off still cracks me up today... running top speed, zig zagging down the middle of the road, bouncing in places that shouldn't be bouncing, arms flailing, yelling, "come on back baby!... come on back here!"

    Nice.......

Ahh, it's a sad world in which we live. And in New Jersey it's constantly in your face. Aren't you North Carolina people so lucky? You Florida people are just as F'd up as we are though.

Charley Murphy........that dude gots some good stories.

    that is hilarious!!

on a surf trip once, a big fat black hooker opened the door to my friends truck (i was in passenger seat) in Hawthorne (south central LA) and started getting in; when we were waiting to make a right turn. he gunned it right as i kicked her out. she rolled and got up like nothing happened. sweet memories

Hey PJB... you know a place called the Bolero in Wildwood? Don't know if it's still there, or maybe there but has a different name, but I used to tend bar there when it was a biker bar. Talk about crazy...
