I made a similar search earlier this year coming from a 9' LB. I was looking at the Addvance and the Walden Mini Mega (6'10"). I ended up going with Walden because I wanted less length and more width. The Walden paddled a bit easier which is important when the 5 mm goes on and it turned surprisingly well given its effectively a LB in the middle of the board. I surfed the Addvance in Mexico about a month ago and liked it. The Addvance is lighter and more responsive but doesn't paddle quite as well. I might pick up the 6'6" the next time I buy a board. Honestly you can't really go wrong. Just know the first few sessions will probably be challenging because you'll need to take off later and the board will be so much lighter than what you're accustomed to on your LB. If it's choppy, you'll feel it more when you paddle.

I've never ridden one but i repaired one that belongs to a friend. I'm not sure if they are all like this, but it had MAD volume. It was like a 7'6" board and was very thick and carried the volume out to very full rails.
