Wayne isn't invited... Locals only and it is enforced!
when is this shindig happening? im only a short drive away
Godspeed, you bunch of Cackalakee BBQ eating beer swilling surf rats. You are lucky us Florida crew surf brahs don't show up and crash your shindig. I know there is one Florida surfer (who will go unnamed), that has more tip time than all of you combined. We will be there in spirit, if not in person. Frost, I hope you kill it. Just don't get all nervous with all the paparazzi around. Block out the crowd, and be the wave. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!
Well sandblasters bailed on me so I made other plans for the weekend. Memorial Day is the beginning of surf season to so I'm trying to miss opening weekend.
Man, if we were only so lucky. If we can play nicely without anyone cutting leashes and breaking fins, we'll invite you next time.
What is the prizes?
Korn will also be playing live
I hear the are going to perform from a boat out in the line up and only contestants can party with the band between their heats. Wish I could be there.
My secret spot is for IOP surfing locals only. /localism
The loser's get this?
Frost I can't do this week end. I gotta place at FB for the week end and plan on being in no shape for driving after 6:00pm Friday through Monday. Who knows I might go all Sredd and punch somebody and make the news.
Between the pier and Morris Island lighthouse you can't miss it.
You guys got a good thing going on down there don't youse?
I've always had this strange fascination with South Carolina. I think I was a plantation worker in a past life. I've also been in England during the Dark Ages. Playing Black Sabbath's Haven and Hell - the outro acoustical piece - always takes me back to this forest and a clearing where my home was. I was murdered there along with my ma. Don't know where my daddy was. Oh man, I must have been an African Englander.
I also have vivid memories of this trail through the woods and one of them 1400's (15th century) taverns.......
