Fishing threade

Been fishing around AC haven’t had a solid bite. Saw a decent sized bluefish, dolphins, and a ton of bunker but nothing was biting... went catfishing last night and got 3 channels.

Going out on the deep sea boat for free again this Sunday. Hope to bring home some tasty fish!

 

I lied, plans changed and I ended up going surfing instead. There’s always next week or the week after.

 

Was marveling at how clear the water looked today....looked like 5 feet easy in the surf. Then watched a diver climb up the rocks with two nice sheepsheads and he told me it was 8-10 foot vis.

 

Now that it's Fall and things are starting to light up, I thought I'd bring Ye Ol' Fishing Threadde back to life.

The three Bs.... the trifecta of New Jersey surf fishing... have appeared! Bass, blues and bonita all being caught in NoMoCo.

Got out yesterday in super sketchy fog. Even with electronics telling you you’re good it’s disorienting...
Miles of bait. Had 11 bass from 20lbs to 40lbs.
