well the water temps have warmed up but for the past few weeks the ocean has looked more like a lake. Hopefully it'll change Friday. It will also be a good test for the new beach at WB maybe. Let's cross our fingers.
Picked up a bit of waist high action today off Dam Neck (VB) between 5 to 6PM as the fog was finally burning off. Water was nice - mid 60s or so. No one else was out.
There have been numerous days lately where during the slack of tides the ocean looked more still than a lake. Only been stoked on waves once in 2.5 weeks but man, in that time, spring sprung, there were numerous 80+ degree days, windows could be kept open at night, the breeze soothes rather than bites, and this full moon tonight is divine. Not tryna get all crunchy on you brohans but there's finally leaves on trees again. The life force beckons us. FLY A BANNER FOR PROTECTED BREAKS DURING THIS WEEKEND'S RESWELLING
And without all the skeeters...at least here. That moon is nice. Time to step outside and enjoy once more before hitting the rack....Good night Mary Ellen...Good night, John Boy....
Two Ex, maybe no squitos but a yellow jacket snuck in my truck on Monday and I sat back against the damn stinger. Had to take a Benadryl which damn near ruined my work day, skatepark sesh, and stoke of an 80 and sunny day. Managed to find vindication in making the bug die a slow death afterwards.
Flat spell just beginning? Get whatever juice is left because we have about 2 weeks before the switch goes to the off position until September. Nothing happening this weekend,.................NOTHING!!!
