And the beat goes on.... http://www.gulfster.com/Daily/2015PictureGallery/100515ec/index.html ^^^ Picture perfect this morning
6 trips to the East coast over the past few weeks. Miles on the surf-mobile are getting way too high. RC's over the weekend was nutty good. Like being in Costa Rica without the airfare.
Yeah man! I picked up the new Coil on Thursday and had it out all that day and the weekend. Will get some pics and a report later. ( damn thing is fantastic)
Looks sooo good! We are getting worked on these last two swells...one good day out of 12 and the NE winds continue to howl! Great camera work on these shots too!
I hear you, I also am stuck at work, was going to call off to join a fellow sweller but couldn't pull the trigger. I have over a week of time off scheduled this month for my move (east), so didn't want to push it.
Next 2 days might be the best so far. Today all I did was catch up on honey dos and real work. And some yoga. Maybe the reef will be going hollow tomorrow. I'm sick of these flaccid overhead ramps. Not! LOL
Went out after work today....still flaccid and head high+ with offshore winds, even got barreled on the flaccidity....huh...haha.
Well, it was inevitable. After surfing quality waves for the past two weeks, I ended up putting a good sized crack/fracture on my board. I can't even remember the impact, just saw the damage when I was unpacking this morning. Any tips on how to temporarily seal this for continued use and then I'll just do a true repair until it's flat?
I'm actually in the market for a new board anyway. Don't mean to derail this thread, but I know you and other guys here have been using Coils from Mike D. How did you go about getting yours? Everything done over the internet?
No worries, this thread has ran it's course. I could keep posting more and more pics but I think dudes are growing tired of the awesomeness Yeah, you can do everything through email if you want or you can call him i'm sure. I personally did it all through email. I let him direct me into what he thought was the right shape based on what I was riding at the time and my skill level. He's a good dude, will get it right the first time most likely and you'll love your board. Try him at mike@coilsurf.com
