Drugs are illegal, but that hasn't stopped anyone from getting them. In fact the criminalization of drugs has only made the problem worse if you factor in the gangs, violence, and billions of $$$ lost to keep them illegal.
Its the same with guns, and this is just pure logic, and anti gunners lack this logic.
Guns are here and here to stay. If you take away the the right to purchase a firearm to anyone who wants one, they will find a way to get one regardless of any law on the books. Like i said b4 even if you shut down gun manufacturers, an underground industry will open up, creating more violence and wasted money.

Tell me then why the Paris attack occurred when France has some of the strictest gun laws in the world?
Guns are here and here to stay, times have changed and people need to have the right to protect themselves. If you take that right away, a Paris attack will become a regular occurrence.

You said you need to have the right to get guns to defend the country against radical extremism. But in doing so you have to give those extremists the same rights and if you take them away they just use bombs. Or just get guns anyway because everbody gets drugs. Except the college kid whose parents didnt help him get the drugs he needed but he got a gun. Then you know there was France?

That just sounds exhausting. Instead i think if you are an asshole you lose the right to easily buy a gun in the store. Solve everything? No. Stop some assholes from easily getting gun maybe.
