Why would anyone buy a handplane? They so easy to make and its not rocket science or even surfboard science. Servile people just want to consume and not create.

I'd buy a hand plane....because I'm lazy and my whittling skills are a bit rusty. Not sure that makes me "servile" to anyone but me. I've actually been planning to pick on up next time I'm in a shop.

What do they go for? 100 bucks at least? Step outside your comfort zone. You can use an old cabinet door and some basic tools , and create something all your own. The gratification is worth more than money.
Sh!t man, plastic lunch trays work.

Agree. Little kids could make these things. ...Or use a pair of extra large flip-flops.
But people want convenience and have have money to burn

nice "lifestyle" shot...some fat bearded kook holding an ironing board, pretending like he's been shredding the unrideable slop in the background

    What's a 'Kook box'?

Free advertising for this guy. He should pay us some royalties

Also- they guy forgot to have a hyper link to his website.

I had to copy and paste.

That's a lot of extra work for a consumer like myself.

His website is interesting. After reading the 'about' section- this guy seems like a nice guy. He is living in NC. It says this guys boards will hold up in anysurf... Even big Hawaii waves. Although I'm extremely doubtful they will hold up to the Belmar. Belmar waves are probably just too heavy for this guys boards.

Seems like a nice guy tho

I dunno about where you at, but crabs round here are vicious man. Stepped on one a few days back - straight pinched my toe man! I was like whoa why?. Almost as bad as stepping on a broken clam shell on the walk back, let me tell you.. Not fun at all man..
