I feel very frustrated when I see shiit like this happen. We depend so much on oil these days, for everything we do and at this point there is no turning back. Reducing consumption is easier said than done, but every day we try to reduce their already drilling a thousand more wells off our coasts and fraking in our farmlands. It's fuking maddening to me. I wish I knew the answer but I don't, and I'm sure many others are just as furious and confused about what to do. These so called spills go right on down the food chain and consume everyone and everything, so we are damned if we do and damned if we don't. 1 fuked-up world we have inherited.

I wouldn't worry too much. Natural seeps in the gulf leak more oil than that every day of the year.

Thanks seldom. Great song. The oil sheen really cuts down on leash drag.

Well if you think it gets into the food chain, then why not develop a recipe that includes 10-30W oil as sauce??
Shrimp a la Exxon; Redfish marinated in diesel; Shell Gumbo Oysters.
    Heck, man....you could be rich.

No effects here. Our red tide has finally diminished and the fishing is going off. I caught this black fin tuna 80 miles out in 200ft Monday. Did not detect any oil but I did detect some wakame seaweed, wasabi & soy in there. TUna.jpg

Thats at my house man! I did borrow a few of the items from the restaurant though. I'm heading your way first tropical system. It's been flat as hell here so the new World Cat 266 is coming in handy.

Even better, we'll stop by the house then lmao. I haven't been fishing over here on the deep sea boat since I moved, been waiting for a flat spell with no thunderstorms, hard to come by right now.
