Those are a big problem here in Stuttgart. Cameras on the lights, cameras on the highway to catch you speeding, and even cameras in all the construction zones. Very annoying.
VB has them. Our fiscally responsible Rep Gov. thought Virginians are too stupid to monitor cameras, so he gave the contract to an out of state firm. he put tolls on our bridges and tunnels down here to be collected by a foreign company for over 50 years, with an automatic 13% increase every year. AND if people bypass the toll routes, the company will be compensated for lost revenue. ONLY IN 'MERKA!
I am glad I escaped Virginia. Friggin Richmond had overpriced toll roads just to move through the city. And those roads sucked worse than the public highways.
There's 3 tunnels connecting Nofug to the rest of the world. they were taken off in the 80's because they were paid for. now this crap from a guy who got in trouble for taking "gifts" worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, His wife went around begging for crap.. It's these teabagger azzholes in the pockets of the 1%ers. The guy running on the repugnican ticket is the guy who forced women to have evasive ultra sound exam if they've been raped. and if elected Gov, will make Bee Jays illegal. If that's the party of less government, I'd hate to see them with an agenda.
The law also states that they have to pay for them, as well as rape kits. Sen. Ghoolsby is pushing that in NC as its just a fantastic idea to insert a phallic shaped object into a rape victim and then send her a bill. I guess its one way of making the stats go down...no report= it didn't happen.
It's really easy to get out of them in the States, folks. All you have to do is protest the ticket and say "It wasn't me." The ticket is for the driver, not the vehicle, and they have absolutely NO WAY of proving it was or was not you.
