It is apparent that a 9-10 sec swell @ 2-4 ft will be coming in throught the weekend. What do you think will be the "surf" height at the best sandbar?

I beleive that we will have some sets running waist to stomach+, with standouts that hit chest high.

not sure where your getting 2-4ft @ 9-10secs.

On the surf forecast page, go to the time plots->surfplots and click on "view details" or (you can get the swell data by clicking on swell plots under the time plots menu).

You will see the swell data from the Swellinfo model. Were looking at 2ft. @ 10secs. Could be a little bigger. This should be in the knee to thigh range as predicted, perhaps some slightly bigger waist high sets with the best tides.

The swell should be bigger down south tho... OBX should be fun tomorrow with better winds too.

saturday and early sunday look real fun for the obx with good winds and a decent little medium period swell. Onshore move in during the day on Sunday and for the beginning of the week. A couple little systems to keep an eye on, so stay tuned to the forecast updates, as they will change.
