If I were you guys, i'd worry more about forecasting more accurately, and less about the forum. For the record, i didn't participate in that whole deal, but seeing how it all played out was a bit ridiculous. Some people just need to lighten up and have a sense of humor.

 

The guys that run the forecasting side are always open to positive feedback, there are tools to adjust forecast readings based on locally observed conditins, for example, I know that at my local break at home, unless the swell is coming through between 30 and 120 degrees I can take 2-3ft off the size, factor that in along with understanding wind directions and everythign is hunky dory.

I am no forecaster though and can't get into the forecasting debate on a thread about moderation, I'm not employed or paid by MSW, I just look after the forum as it is nice to give something back.

Sorry but I wouldn't ask to have that power again unless SI really wanted me to . Some People here do like to follow the rules and run and cry when they get infractions or Banned . I thank you all the majority of you (95%) of the users on this forum like me as a mod the other 5% who were a constant problem said I abused me power when SI had no issues how I did things

 

Has there even been a banning or infarction here in the last month? There definitely have been trespasses that warranted at least some points going on accounts, but don't recall any mention of it. That said, we are in an "Era of Good Feeling" in SI history right now. I guess it took a cleansing like MSWgate to get here.

Maybe if you guys did pay, you might get a better applicant pool. I got an infraction for telling someone to get lost. LOL Then I see others on here telling people to eat D_ _ K. Was there infraction for that? Anyway, my vote is for Yankee.

This thread was on ice before you came back. I'm sure you're a good dude like so many on here have claimed, just pointing out an observation from a neutral person's perspective. I could care less who is right between you two for the record. For being a former mod, you sure enjoy a good argument. As do I and many others on here, it just looks different coming from a guy like you. Maybe i'm wrong about this, IDK
