fun fact i surfed that spot during hurricane good sandy good 6 foot plus coming though dont ask why i was there and not home but i contracted what i i think was ecoli or some other water borne diseases i was not hot for about 9 days. i though new jerseys water is dirty no...these guys dump millions of gallons of raw sewage in to this lake every year after big rains sometimes dead live stock and huge fish kills.(seen the fish kills) when there is surf there is rain these guys surf in doo doo water countless days of the year, after the surf sesh i was using peroxide in my ears and eye drops.

Thats interesting - I never thought of the great lakes having high levels of pollution but it makes great sense. Well since you got sick afterwards was the 6'ers at least decent?

very hard to catch most were mooshy if you ever go to the great lakes go to superior. they cant get some good waves.
