So how/why does one receives so much "hate?" I mean what's the criteria...? As it seems that there is a lot of band wagon/group think "hating"...for his a few other's threads given the fact that they push back--regardless of how logical they are... Further, Roy's most recent thread is pretty interesting...but again hijacked...by trolls with no reason to go after him other than previous postings...and just a distaste for him...

Further just to clarify...Roy is one of those posters that has threads that are great...and posts where he's on the crazy train...regardless...back to my point...it's lame to see such a double standard...as well such a juvenile mentality...

 

I have stopped posting in Roy's thread, but he still trolls other threads. Also, the fact that he is a holocaust denier seems to rub people the wrong way.

Agreed, but for some posters such lame posts are the best they can do, it's their highest form of self expression and a necessary stage in their evolution... so we try to treat them with a moderate amount of tolerance at least.

you've inverted both facts and logic... I claim no such thing it is yankee, carter and co who constantly claim that absent posters are on their side and are represented by them, I've just pointed out that this claim isn't supported by any evidence.

When I'm understood best by others, or at least tolerated, is when I do 2 things: 1) Listen sometimes. On here, the equivalent of listening would be helping others with problems or simply being positive and thankful towards them; 2) Talk about yourself less than 50% of the time you're talking.
