First post here, great site by the way. But I just want to say, after a LONGGGGGGGGGGG flat summer, it is soooo nice to see the fronts marching through like they are. I have been Surfing 2-3 times a week for a few weeks now, and I love it.
You guys got the first tropical storm of the year - Alberto - and after that the eastern Gulf pretty much shut down all summer... looks like a healthy dose of nw wind swell this week - have fun.
Yeah, gonna be choppy, sloppy, dumpy, and bumpy. All that spells fun in the gulf for at least 3 days str8, maybe 4. Woo Hoo.
enjoy your slop. if you want some clean ones, looks like the east side of the peninsula is looking fun. thats where i'll be heading for thanksgiving
yup, and my wife is working on Turkeyday. I got no real plans, so a Surf trip might be just the ticket....hmmmmm.

I am just sticking around here after Surfing Upham tonight. It got pretty fun just before dark. I am going to roll over the bridge in the a.m. and see what AMI has to offer. Might be some clean waist high waves for a bit.
Hey Russ, how did you make out? Swellinfo could really use an updated Gulf coast photo. Got any from this past swell or previous swells?

Yeah, the freight train de-railed for the moment, didn't it? LOL Oh well, gonna hit the EC this weekind. With all that Easterly flow, should be something happening. Just hope the winds slack off by the weekend(Sunday). But I guess I could look on here to find out, huh? LOL.
looks like a cleaner surf on the east side for new smyrna northward Friday and Saturday (slowly dropping through the week).
Its the "slowly dropping" part that worries me. I am heading over for Sunday with my Wife. I guess we'll have to wait and see how it plays out. If it is going to drop, and be real small on Sunday, I am just going to ride my dirtbike on Saturday instead.
Looks like we might get a l'il something after all for this weekend. Seeems like tomorrow has a good chance for afternoon chuncks. I'll post pics tomorrow night.
