My fiance just sent me a picture of an american flag cake, ya know the horrible ones with the blueberries and strawberries that your parents always made at 4th of july parties, those piss me off too.

Waves aren't going to cooperate, but... This weekend will make my 48 month straight of surfing at least once! Going to keep streak going as long as I can. Surfed once with the flu (two years ago) to keep streak going. Looks like long board and patience will be on order...

the tourist apocalypse is upon us.

 

What would happen if there were waves on another planet and it had something like half the gravity of Earth? What would the surfing be like? Would you haul ass or do an air into the stratosphere?

 

So, i wanted to go down to the beach (beach, not shore, I am in DE) and go to this sushi joint and then to Dewey to catch a friend's acoustic set, but I think I may pass considering it's Memorial weekend. Maybe i'll head down to the 16 Mile Brewery, I think they have an event going on

 

Now that is solid advise.

But I wanna kurb this ****te.

 

here is the last week or so of my life:
5/11 - my cat gets bit by a copper head. i spend $717 and was at the vet till midnight. "mutherfvcker"
5/15 - saw two ppl fvcking on the beach at night in mel. bch., fl. walked right up to them and turned on my mag light from 10 ft away. "oh great"
5/16 - went to meet Wayne in cocoa bch. he was not there. "whatever dog"
5/17 - swam in the lagoon at Sebastian inlet. get sunburned "hammered up dog sh!t"
5/18 - drove home 9 hours "ughhhh"
5/19 - finally got my boat in the water. maiden voyage of the ss metard on my last vacation day. "oh yeahhh"
5/20 - back to work. "ughhh"
5/21 - some one attempted to break into my house. I now have to replace the locks on that door. "are ppl trying to die"
5/22 - not sure what to expect.

 

tard sounds like a rough week...sorry about your cat and the attempted break-in. Is kitty ok?
