DPSUP...I was going start a random SUP thread titled DPSUP. Whenever I surf and there is a SUPer in the lineup with shortboarders hanging on the peak it drives me nuts. With that said, I was down on HHI last week for a meeting and of course there were no waves. Anyway, I tried SUP for the first time. I could not believe how challenging it was and how soar I was after!

So, my random post is about "supping" being hard as hell at first and it should be done in places like HHI

 

Z- watch the AHI Sashimi with all the salmonella scares!!! I love sushi but going to wait a bit to see how this shakes out (60 people sick, mostly west coast but some east coast).

 

the one thing about SUP ers is u cant figure out when they are gonna shoot in on a wave,,surfers in a lineup i can pick a spot to stay away from...sups are always zipping back and forth everywhere and boom then they decide to come forward

That's funny...I always feel weird if I don't have beer (or any adult beverages) when I eat Sushi. It's like a subconscious thing about killing any bacteria!

I've decided that I'm going to eat a lobster roll for lunch. when it comes to seafood my general rule is that it's so good that the more simple the prep the better. So I would rather just steam a lobster and that's it. But a lobster roll, a few oysters and a few beers overlooking the bay sounds pretty alright.

What is your favorite way to eat lobster? Anyone ever have Lobster Thermidor? You take chunked lobster meat and mix it with butter, egg yolks, and brandy Then you stuff it back in the lobster shell! I mean I'm sure its tasty but it takes something away from the main ingredient right?
