Iam sure I will catch some grief from a few...but Got back from our annual long weekend virginia wine tour, love wines. Stayed in a b&b in Culpeper, great town with phenomenal restaurants. Made a stop at Trump vineyards (selling Making America Great Again hats along with wines ) and they have the best freakn sweet wine I have ever had...Iam a red guy and not sweet but they have a wine called cru, I think it 18%, and its crazy good...bought a case and was sipping, well guzzling, some of that the other night.

Virginia vineyards are off the hook. When I got here there were 6 vineyards - - now its gotta be over 50.

 

I think I heard it's the second biggest wine destination in the us. Even visited distilleries and cider (alcohol) producers. Amazing how many vineyards that are in that state.

 

Yea mrcoop, perfect get away for long weekend with a lady! Last time we rented a driver for the day to drive us around all day to the different wineries (devil's backbone brewery too).

Also, there are some insane restaurants and even check out Monticello for some history!!! I never did trumps place b/c I don't like the bubbly ...or sweet wines.

Yea Jay, Going down to Monticello for our anniversary in June. Staying at the iris...looking forward to it. Heard Charlottesville is a great place too.
