It is worth it, yes. Dropped 5 the first week. Those were the easy lbs, now the work begins.
3 weeks to a cold beer....sands of the Kalahari...

 

Don't normally drink, however, wife is away at our daughters helping with our granddaughter so maybe I will get a drink or two out with dinner. How about Southern Comfort Manhattan with Maracino cherry, straight up.
Formerly my favorite cocktail when I used to imbibe.......

when was the last time anybody on here got black out drunk?

been many years for me lol,too many responsibilities now.it would be nice to do it once to remind me of my youth lol.these days il just get a pint and be good with that.doesnt get me wasted or anything,just a nice buzz which is fine with me.

from what I remember of the last time I blacked out was when the southern comfort 100 proof came out.it was new years eve,a few friends over when I had my own place.mary jahwanas and booze was flowing I'm like yea il still be up by the time the ball drops lol.

I had a spot where I was upstairs on the top floor and u can step outside the kitchen window and be on the roof.so once I got pretty drunk,before the black out I got heat flashes or whatever,when u get really hot.it was snowing outside,so I went on the roof to cool off.

I guess some time went by and idk maybe 1am or something my buddies find me on the roof lol sleepin.i was probably out there for 2 hrs or so.thats all I remember but it was a good night lol

 

Several months ago my wife and I went to the Expendables concert in Orlando, I had been smoking and drinking beer all day, by time we got to the show I was already feeling good, but I was just getting started. I started drinking Jameson and then back to beer toward the end. My wife was driving so she didn't have more than a couple drinks. I had a spliff waiting for me in the car. I didn't need it, I smoked it anyways. I got the spins and tried holding it together but eventually I rolled the window down and puked while going 80-90mph on the highway.

I painted the entire side of the vehicle on the outside and parts of the inside and all over myself. It just flew back in with the force of the wind. Somehow I lost a brand new CD in the process, I had just bought it at the concert. I think I tossed it by accident along with my insides. I then passed out for the rest of the ride home and had one helluva clean up effort once home and I sobered up some. Wife was not proud that night. But hey, I did my best.

 

lol that's an epic story dsup.

the whole puking thing is the reason I don't drink that much and prefer the green stuff over the beverage.we only live once so its ok to get sh1tfaced on occasion.just have to do it responsibly lol,not drive or endanger the public.im a little buzzed now,just finished a small bottle of henny and about to order some chinese

Exactly why drinking is a rarity for me.

Almost made it through the winter without getting sick.

 

The standards: Guinneuss and Jameson... corned beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes. Irish Soda bread and butter.

Right on, I'm probably going to have lamb and Guinness Sheppard pie or something and we're going night fishing into the early morning. I'll be drinking beer or some sort, haven't decided yet. Probably Guinness Blonde, it's good.

Correction, i'll be drinking Goose Island, wife said they had it on sale buy one get one free at Publix. Can't pass on that! So i'm going with the IPA and also the 312, mmmm.
