Front Foot deck pads

    who uses the astro deck front foot traction pads?

    i just picked one up, i have about 4 months before i can even use it, but any feedback?

    No bare backing in Cal, and it's rare in NJ.

    I've used them.

    No wax is nice. It's harder to shuffle your foot in booties. Depending on size and placement, your foot will very occasionally come off and slide, if you're getting radical.

    Ultimately, I kind of dig them.

    When was the last time your front foot slipped? I can't remember it ever happening to me.

    I had one in 1991. On a single fin Bahne. I also had a body glove sticker on it somewhere and I didn't have pubes yet.

    Ha, in Florida I used the steal the Body Glove stickers off the clothes at the department stores. Man I was cool!

    just make sure your pad matches your high tech wetsuite jacket

    Christian Fletcher uses them. His Dad owns Astrodeck, so he probably uses it for his car floormats, flooring his house, etc.
    Having a front traction pad just doesn't seem like a good idea. Back, yes. Front just seems awkward to me.
