I dont want to speak for brew, but I think chickengumbo is off his wheels AND the fukishima leak is dangerous.

however accurate info may be lacking as there seems to be secrecy and such, you cant hide radiation, it gets picked up by sensors and spreads and I think this spread/intensity info will be available to almost all gvts and other international watchdogs, making lying about it rather difficult. I personally think there is more to the story as we have no idea what will happen in the long run as this has never happened before.

I said nothing about the reactor being harmless. It is a big problem that needs real solutions. Chich is a lost cause. Spreading fear monger stories only causes more issues than it helps. We need real science and real solutions, not end of the world panic.

That is the impression you get because your reading comprehension skills are severely lacking. Or maybe you can't understand any information that doesn't come from some random website that uses the phrase "wake up, sheeple".

Koch Bros caused the earthquake that caused the tsunami that caused the leak just to kill one fish... They went fishing 5 years ago and hooked up with a big tuna, but lost it by the boat. They were very upset, so they decided to try to kill every fish in the ocean just to make sue they got that tuna... It's on the internet so it's 100% fact.

I find it difficult at times to sort fact from fiction - especially when there's a political agenda and profit motives tied to an issue (often the case). Global warming discussions are similar in this regard. What and who do you believe? What's the old adage: "Figures lie and liars figure"?
One really needs to think objectively and thoroughly study these matters. A technical or scientific background certainly helps. I often don't have time, or more truthfully, don't make the time to do that. I really should. Otherwise, I don't feel I can intelligently discuss an issue.
There's a lot of information out there and conversely a lot of misinformation. I've had several recent conversations with my son about this sort of thing. I know folks who get most of their "information" and form their opinions based primarily on what they've heard on either Fox News or MSNBC. Actually, I much prefer the tabloids at the grocery store check-out aisles: alien babies, radioactive underground mole-people, and whatnot.
Oh heck, it's all Obama's fault!

I don't think global warming is quite in the same arena. There are a ton of climatologists in the world, and 98% of them agree on the causes and results. There is some disagreement around magnitude of changes.

Its not actually classified as "global warming" anymore. Since there are areas of the earth cooling vs warming. Thats where random sci=guys were coming out saying "global warming" is a myth, all just hype by the Liberals to push their "green" agenda.

Technically its just climate change now. Almost the same thing, but less likelyhood that people are gonna dispute its validity.

Cool article in the new Surfing Mag. Just came in the mail yesterday.
Cheyne Mags, Zeke Lau and Anthony Walsh went on a trip to Japan and scored radioactive barrels.

Not saying this is not happening. It is definitely a BAD situation.

But are there any credible resources for this? I clicked on all the links through the blog/article and they are bring you to other blogs... The YOUTUBE videos of the "black dirt" are ridiculous. Guys walking in the street taking video of dirt that looks like plain old dirt

It's the scam of the century. Last century it was 'The Holocaust'.

Go ahead and prove me wrong, if you can.

It's a fallacy of argument to suggest that 'blogs are not credible'. It's like saying that green ink isn't credible.

You say that the links lead only to other blogs, it seems that you didn't take the next step i.e. following the links on the 'other blogs'.

Prove me wrong. Go ahead, but please use real science. I don't have to prove you wrong. You presented absolutely no data or facts. Seems pretty ignorant to post that it is a scam, present no evidence, then ask someone to prove you wrong. There are over a thousand peer reviewed studies showing what is going on. It must be fun to just assume all these scientists and researchers are trying to scam the world.

The scam of the century is a $1mil+ surfboard.

It is hard to consider a blog a credible source. Fear makes people pay attention to you.

I have followed these chains before on stuff Chich posted earlier. They lead nowhere. You will never find real information from credible sources.
