I used 5mm psycho 5 finger gloves in New England all winter! I swear my hands were never cold. I have the hardest time trying to get a 2nd mitten on, never mind pulling the wetsuit over it. I tried the 5 fingers and all those issues are resolved! water was 34-36 degrees!
these gloves are the best of the best. if this company was selling shares i would like to acquire them. However they are using kick start funds.. whats up with kick start, why do decent seeming brands use such ways of raising capitol? whats the appeal / catch with kick start?
Probably because they have a limited market and can't sell the volume. Cool idea, yea. Necessity, no.
Soooo do you paddle around with all that air in your gloves? Seems annoying idk... Good idea I guess but my hands would be floating all day
The valve is the key...draw out the air. However, I'd be curious of the insulation value compared to a regular 3,5,7 mil glove. 5 years ago or so ago a company put out a surfing dry suit...suit looked great and I almost pulled the trigger...cost was a bit prohibitive.
