going to costa tomorow and i gotta pack my board but my fins(futures) are stuck and wont come out. anyone have any solutions?
did you strip the nut? otherwise I would spray some penetrating oil on it (liquid wrench) and let it sit a couple hours then try to loosen it up.
try pouring some kind of oil (maybe veggie). when you do get them out give them a little sand. this happend to me once or twice. gave it a hard yank and smacked my head with the fin and put a nice cut on my forehead haha
not gonna lie i legitimately just laughed out loud because these are the kinds of things i do every day. haha
Take a shoe and hit the fin from the back it should get it out. I've done it a few times its always worked with no damage.
Gently flex your find side to side, then tap it with a hammer. Make sure you wrap some cloth around the fin to protect it first. Use the least amount of force to get the job done. Wax your new fins before putting them in so it doesn't happen again.
