kinda leaning that way myself. Removable fins have about as many cons as they have pros. As far as the "travel convenience" aspect, I think that's more hype than anything since I never had a problem traveling with glass-ons.

Anyway, I've been exclusively on futures the past few years...mostly because I couldn't stand the old two-tab FCS gaps between fin and board. Not only was it just ugly, but seaweed would get stuck and drag around in there all session without me knowing.

Futures aren't perfect either. Their fin designs and tech are great...but then they blow it with poor QC on the final hand finishing (asia). 9 out of 10 fins have been sanded to a lopsided foil and/or are warped. Fins either just fall in the box, wiggling side to side, or are a little too snug (preferred). Their larger fins, that extend past the front of the base, are rarely sanded the same...even within the same set (one or two will be flush to the board and the third will have a 16th" gap...STOP ALLOWING THAT!!!).

Haven't tried FCSII, but I've read their hand finishing QC is as bad as Futures. Only thing that would make FCSII better, imo, is if their system eliminates side to side wiggle.

Ok, cool. I think I'm going with Futures. Thanks to all for replies.
