Galveston Location

    I was looking at the wave map and noticed where Ike's highest surf is hitting and that Galveston seems to me a little too far W...isn't Galveston closer to the TX/LA border?:confused:

    too far west for what?

    galveston is about 100 miles southwest of the LA coast.
