My company is sending me for training in Houston the first week of February. If the forecast looks good, I'm thinking of taking my surfboard or bodyboard with me. I was wondering how is the parking situation around Galveston. Will I be able to park quickly, change in the parking lot or somewhere else and hit the water in time to be back in S Houston by 9 AM Any other tidbits about the surf scene in the area would be greatly appreciated.
