    Looking like a close out.
I highly recommend waiting for less wind, higher temp, and better shape. Maybe after lunch. The swell isn't going anywhere and the sun might even pop out.

Zippy says there's no such thing as a closeout.

I wish we had more smiley icons to choose from. I would be repeatedly posting the one banging its head against a brick wall right about now.

Have fun folks, I'll be thinking about you.... not in a good way though.

    Lots o' flattened-out, way-too-high-tide, sectiony close-outs that I see.....

There's a ton of water out there with a swell trying to punch through the tide and the wind.......

As of now, look for them inside, high tide liking bars.......I'll wait awhile. Thank you.

Time to shovel snow. I love shoveling snow......no really I do.

Exciting times up here in NE. We earned it. Not a lick of swell for weeks and if you take RI out of the equation, the last 7 months have been less than flat.

It's cold out there man. I can't wait to hit the break later today but it's cold out there man. Like frostbite in a few minutes cold. Thank God for snow pants and combat boots and other such items. Good thing this snow is as light as it gets. A shoveler's dream. Only crappy thing is that I've gotta shovel the whole damn driveway. Didn't grom brah say he had nothing better to do?

Hope all yous guys enjoy some gnarly stoke today. Stay warm, or at least not full on hypothermic.

You guys didn't score on the Thanksgiving Swell or Dec 15/16? How?

Do you just mean the north/south shore or all of New England?

You guys pretty much cop waves from the same systems we do.....just maybe a day later comes the quality. There's been some good stuff around here the past month.

Thanksgiving was good. Not unreal. I reckon Dec. 15th was good but it was the last couple days of my last trip to SD so I missed that one. Did have a great Monday out there so no complaints. I'm talking MA/NH above the Cape and below Maine. RI is another ball game since it's below the Cape. We do cop waves from the same systems, yes, but they arrive at our respective shores at different times, in different conditions, and from different directions on frequent occasion. What happens in Jerz stays in Jerz, unfortunately in this case.

Woahhllyyyy schitt for this third high tide of the storm that's about to hit us in a couple hours. The crib is already getting welcomed by the ocean and we still have two hours to go. Gnarl.

Most storms, of significant size to affect multiple east coast regions at once, or storms that traverse a good portion of the east side......the onshores blow the same.

I'm not being a wise-arse, I'm just saying. If a storm blows a south swell here, it blows a south swell in New Hammy. Like, Monday was the go to day here in Jersey from that last swell too. Usually, at most, youse guys clean up 12-24 hours later than we do. See we aren't all that different....Sometimes if we look past our differences we discover we are more alike than we think.

Of course, certain coastlines have differing facing shorelines. Of course, it can be different just a mere ten miles north or south. But the mid-atlantic and NE cop waves from the same systems, usually......maybe.....What waves they cop is a different matter entirely.

Dudes, I'm still friggin sick. Help me. I'll tell you what, I could go for a point, like a friggin cove, today. If you could wipe out 95% of the surfers in New Hampshire, I'd love it there. Too many people in too short of a coastline.

"Did somebody say Too Short?" " I remember how it all began. I used to sing raps to my east side fans......."

No, Too Short we weren't talking to you.....go back to Oakland.

" Aww man, ya alls got a dollar for me..."

    No,Too Short......go on scram.......

PB&J, there's been no swell to speak if here in the last 2.5 weeks. That's a fact. Today and tomorrow we've got something to grind on here. Another fact.

I live right next to sandy hook NJ and it looks big and cold here. Big and cold and scary. Roads barely driveable and nobody seems brave enough (or dumb enough) to paddle out right now...smart. Maybe around 130-2 the local pros will brave it. Im hoping for a waist high leftover swell tomorrow morning.
