Glassed In VS Fin Systems?

    interesting...i'd like to see a picture of it if you have one.
    i went the step-up route b/c we don't really see rideable surf that size very often, & i'm more comfortable on something that's fairly similar to my good wave (chest/shoulder high up to a couple feet OH) board. the width & thickness are identical, my step-up is just 4" longer. & my "step down" (thigh-shoulder/head high) is 6" shorter.
    as i said, i'm waiting on a board. once that come in, i'm going to haul my entire quiver outside & take some pics of the group & each board & post 'em up...get some quiver talk going in here!

    You're right... when it get's that into the DOH range, rideability can get pretty iffy. A bigger board at least gives me a better shot at making a wave or two. I had a 6'8 rounded pin that I considered my step-up, but found it didn't help much once it got big and ugly, and was a bit too much board for just "good waves."
