Got up early sunday morning on mv to catch a fading glassy swell that didnt really fade. Chest to head high with occasional slightly Overhead sets. It was easily the best surfing conditions of the year. So stoked.
Glad you scored, I can relate...Friday afternoon in DE was some of the most solid swell I've surfed in a long time...stoked!
Dude on Saturday I went out too and saw some well overheads, wasn't as good and spaced out as Sunday tho. I tried Friday and it was basically well overhead to double overhead but so choppy because the winds were about 45 mph directly onshore
I bet it was bombing on the vineyard sat morning dude...there were some rogue beasts pushing through here that were well overhead. Looked like it stuck around ggod on sunday too, unfortunately had to tend to stuff around the house. That it was sir, very much so.
Saturday was fun even here on the Gulf. We didnt have that size but it was waist to chest and offshore all day. And we got more coming. Thank you winter.
Saturday was good, it was smooth as glass, but the waves were a little too bunched up still for my taste, got a few lefts though anyways
You also talking bout Rhodey or did you stay at Oak Bluffs country? How was the 7mm in mid 60s water and 70 degree sun.
Nice dude! Were you the guy that I saw paddling out at like 7 at night on Friday? Pitching pretty hard there eh?
Haven't surfed off island in awhile man, i went to Lucy vincent in Chilmark sunday mornin for those glassy o-heads. The 7 mil was fine actually, with the water temp at about 59 degrees it wasn't too hot
