Wear 5mm pycho five fingers! water was 35* last year, North east! fingers were fine! cant do shatt alone when im wearing anything else! also just wear a R4 5-4!

If someone comes up with a flexible material that traps enough water to be warmed by the body (hence the name wetsuit) that does not deteriorate when exposed to salt water will be a millionaire. Leaking isn't as much of a problem compared to a full flush. Poor seam construction resulting in constant flush, neoprene, and poor fit are the main factors in a cold wetsuit.

Until new materials are found we will have to suffer through numb toes and fingers.

My 5mil drylock gloves are warm and don't flush... but are so hard to get on and off I end up stressing the materials to the point of failure after about 2 years of regular use. Then is a series of repairs until there's catastrophic failure, and I'm left standing in the parking lot with a half a glove in my hand.

I buy two pair of 5mil boots at a time and alternate. Keeps the funk factor down.

I had this exact experience with two consecutive pairs of drylocks...it didn't take me two years to stress them out. But yeah...for the first 10 sessions they are best gloves ever!

I end up buying new gloves every two seasons they rip or have holes and ur ****ed. I even use wetsuit repair but two seasons is max it seems.
