This has been a heated topic on this site for a long time.
This isnt a link to GMO food directly, but the use of round-up and its effect on gut flora. This has been well known by the scientific community for a long time,
    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23224412
    http://www.mdpi.com/1099-4300/15/4/1416/htm

but has always been shooed off as pseudoscience.
But now the mainstream news is reporting this in an indiscriminate way. They are not reporting on the link only the symptom and a solution profitable for big pharma.

I use round-up all the time. Works well. I only wish it would work on surfers as well. It's an infestation here of surfers. We need a lot of them to croak.....

    K.

Your a paranoid person. A hypochondriac.

Think you're going to live forever?

You spend all this time trying to be healthy that it seems to me that you are the most unhealthy person on here is you with all your worrying.

    Just food for thought.

    Love,
    Bubs

No Bubs I'm not paranoid. I live a happy healthy lifestyle free of fear. Of course I won't live forever, but I will have a better quality of life when I'm older.
You're logic is flawed. Does a non smoker not smoke cigs out of fear of lung cancer? No, he/she doesn't smoke cause its not healthy. So I don't spend time not smoking. I just don't smoke. Same with food. I just don't eat unhealthy food. No time wasted, no worries.

The reason for this thread was to inform those who might see GMO's as not being unhealthy.

    Love,
    Archy

So you create a thread with a title in bold letters that is false. And then wonder why people don't take you seriously.

Pesticides and herbicides are basically multi-vitimins that everyone should chug down 3 times a day. Especially your kids, wives, and families. Bon appetite.

If you feel that what is reported by Bloomberg and the medical literature is false, then back up your argument.

GMO's were meant to keep the plant alive while they saturate the whole area with their poison. killing all the critters around the plant, all beneficial bugs and the things that feed on those bugs.

“If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe, then man would have only four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man.” Albert Einstein

I'll edit this into 1st post.
    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3155156/

If you read the second study you would have seen the pathway of an unhealthy microbiome to cancer.

Bloomberg is admitting this pathway through the treatment and in their words, "Five years ago, if you had asked me about bacteria in your gut playing an important role in your systemic immune response, I probably would have laughed it off,"
Of course they're not gonna come right out and say bad gut health is a cause for cancer. That would jeopardize a potential billion $$$$$ industry. It takes critical thinking to add 2+2 and come out with 4.
i guess I misjudged some on the SI panel.

It's obvious you didn't read the scientific literature and/or it is just too technical for you.

I guess a 10 second sound bite on CNN, Or a headline in the NY Times is the only thing that can convince you.

you should try some of this
    th.jpg

    It's easier than you think:

    Scientific studies 2
    Bloomberg report 2
    Link 4

    2+2= 4

If they came right out and said it people in high places, major industries, multi billion dollar corporations would fall to the ground overnight.

you are why this country is going down. people who cant think and just want things handed to them .

I'm not saying GMOs are good... I do think the pesticides are bad and I do think people should be allowed to be informed abut what they eat.

But you are just making things up and stating them as facts... That's why people don't take you seriously.
