GMO's cause cancer

mang, it says it within the first 500 words of the abstract in the second link, along with a laundry list of other diseases/ailments.

to start an conversation of differing opinion based on subjects and essays presented is one thing, being an ignorant d1ck is another.

archy, i do believe that gmo's are cancer causing. I believe that anything we do to manipulate a raw food could be potentially hazardous to health; however, in the winter months when i am unable to grow my own crop i dont make nearly enough money to clean the all crap (beer included) out of my pantry and replace it with all non gmo/organic foods.

How do you recommend removing gmo products from my shelves and diet? And please dont just tell me to buy organic, its close to the same price.... ive tried countless times, and its not.

And anything causes cancer when given in the massive doses to rats as NIH is so want to do. Hell, even reading too many archy posts will give a person cancer of the brain.

 

How they made the GMO gene is enough to keep any one from voluntarily ingesting it. They discovered a bacteria growing in a bunch of round up and spliced that gene with the organism.

Bees are not that important. Ants are also pollinators, although less effectively, and there are more ants than just about all other biomass combined. ( I Made that up but there's a lot of ants ok.)

GMO is tossed around way too loosely. It is not in itself evil. It is most likely the biggest boon to human civilization in modern times.

But I do think dumb people are being systematically allowed to be dumber and less important in the evolution of our species, which I personally favor because dumb people are difficult to reason with.

 

Actually, given the population explosion, lack of a consistent predator that feeds on humans is he largest contributor. Nothing to keep us in check. That is consistent with a large biological species die-off similar to what happened during the Permian period, and the Cretaceous as well. We have been in a die off now for a couple of million of years; we just noticed it recent times. And no--it is NOT due to "global warming". We are the one species on Earth that COMMONLY dies of "old age". No other species can say that, unless we are protecting it.
So, yes, a bee die-off would be significant. In fact, any species die-off is significant, because it is another link in the web that weakens the biosphere. We will soon reach a threshold with so many species gone, that the web collapses. Fossil records back that fact up.
Then, slowly, remaining animals evolve to refill the vacant niches. But, we will be gone, in all probability, and the Earth will be glad to see us gone!!

Being eaten by a shark or one of the few remaining predators is, now a days, just pure bad luck for an individual--has zero effect on our population dynamics.

That's just ridiculous. I guess it fits in with some peoples fantasies that the world is going to end soon but it won't, life will persist as it has until you're dead and gone and all the worrying and stressing you do will be futile at best.

Most species do not survive more than one million years. We have already spent 250,000 of it evolving to knuckleheads like yourself!! hahahahaha!!!
