you know, my 6 mil is a quicksilver. i dont know the name i think its like an inferno, but i bought it off one of my college friends for 50 bux. Its lasted every winter since then, i think 3 or 4 years or something and it still is a decent six mil.

Honestly bro, every dog has his day. I've had a few O'Neill's over the years but have never really been very happy with them...I have a 4 mil that feels more like a 3...they've never kept me very warm...but they look great. I know you've been happy with O, so why not go there again?

I've had a couple of Xcel's that have kept me very warm and lasted several seasons...this has not been the same for you though.

I haven't heard good things about Matuse, West or Patagonia either. But some people think they are the cat's pajamas.

I will say one thing...that lining they use in Rip Curl's seems to be the real deal. Super warm and dries super quick. But I tend to rip (no pun intended) them up just as quick.

One more thing: I honestly believe that most suits really aren't built to last anymore. The industry has gone to super flexible materials which have proven to not last as long. It's a sacrifice many have chosen. Personally, I'd rather sacrifice flexibility for warmth and longevity.

I buy wetsuits as a fashion statement. I strut the "boardwalk".
    Chicks dig me......
