Nice diversion from this thread Chilli... doesn't everyone get tired of arguing about the same thing all the time on here?

    Were just the east coast???

I know plenty of aggro NJ surfers that will cut your lease, break your board and kick the living **** out of anyone. Damn, iv'e even seen some dude get ripped out the water here locally and clubbed on the noggin with a piece of drift wood. Stuff can get real serious here in NJ.

CA is just like NJ. I would know i lived there ½ my life. Costa, and Hawaii on the other hand gets uglyer.

  3. I grew up on the NJ shore in a beach town, and really didn't see that type of violence, however, I don't doubt that in certain parts of Jersey it happens.
Plus..I am sure you "fellas" would never rip 2 chicks out of the water and club them with drift wood! ;)

I'm just stoked that chicks are actually getting in the water :)

ThreeHourBore, if you are getting out paddled, as Chuck stated, call them out or strengthen up those paddle muscles.

CW with the best post of the thread

Where in Costa have you been? Maybe you just bring bad vibes with you wherever you go...

Costa? been there 5 times....Tamarindo, Playa Grande, Langosta, Avellanas, Playa Negra, Playa Coyote, Manzanillo, and Mal Pais. I think that's all of them. Bad vibes.....Nope. I had never had any bad experiences or problems anywhere iv'e ever surfed. Including Jamacia. But I witnessed someone getting slimed in Costa. They throw slim into your face and then rob you. (some locations in Costa actually HATE americans)

As far as bad vibes go.....When I'm in the water I act accordingly and always follow all the rules. I know on this forum i can at times be a hot head. Just cause i'm aggro sometimes and sarcastic and don't agree with what everyone says doesn't mean i'm a bad person or bring bad vibes. Everyone has there own outlook on subjects. Believe it or not I'm actually a pretty calm laid back person.

As far as traveling, been up and down the coast, been out of the country a couple of times too, but when I say big I mean rolling down to Avon or Frisco, or up LBI or Manasquan, or even staying close on a hurricane. And I just can't take anyone serious acting hard doing something I could do at age 5. Being the best bb'er is like being the smartest kid with down syndrome...

Your ignorance to the world at large is obvious and your negativity towards bodyboarding makes most laugh. If not for a bodyboarder, you would not be posting on this site.

I do not know,..unless you are one of the few, better, older, local surfers,..A3hourwhore, i may not believe you, in respect to your abilities.

Either way, maybe you should re-think what you said. For my part, lately anyway, I feel as if I am coming around full circle. What I mean is that I grew up enjoying waves without any type of board, and now I am starting to really enjoy just body surfing, again.

You can argue the point if you want, but I would like most of everyone to try and body surf, and get slotted on head high plus waves around here. It is not as easy as you may think. Of course it has already been said that it does not get big around here, which is true! But I ask you, have you ever seen the a body surfering contest at PIPE?. I have, and all I got to say about the stand-up / bodyboard arguement is that you may have had the wrong point of your for a long time. I do not need no stinking board to catch a wave or pull into something hollow with a little size.

I can only guess that your riding ability & mental capacity has progressed much since age 5 if you think the EC gets BIG.

Continue to sit in the lineup & whine about BBERS, whomever, paddling around you. Your the one getting worked up & it sounds like you can't even handle the people/activities in local waters. Your attempt @ humor & trying to justify that you are a REAL surfer is.......................quite honestly weak.

If us BBERS really cared what you thought, we would surf, however we don't. You keep telling yourself how you are so much better than BBERS & we will continue to ignore you & be slotted on YOUR wave.

We (BBERS/Window Lickers) will also save you a seat on the short yellow bus since your maturity level has yet to progress.

    Have a great day.

aquaholic, you're so rad. you've been to Costa 5 times! ****, that's gnarly. Plus, you've been to Tamarindo, Avellanas, Negra, and Grande... those are all within 30 minutes of Tamarindo, so basically you've been to Tamarindo and Mal Pais. I suggest you try the Caribbean in say March, that should open your eyes. Over and out butt munchers

It's amazing, you've truly put me in my place. I have no come back to that brutally honesty and oh so accurate observation of my abilities over a message board post. God, I wish I could make a sweet, self gratifying, myspace page listing my many accolades and awesomeness just to show I am a ripper of elite status (although I do suspect some green-screening there.) I'll just sell my Merrick, Psycho II suit, Roof Rack pads (and my sweet Xterra since I'm so extreme, covered in stickers to show I try to surf, yet only pose), and move to Nebraska. I am unworthy of entering your lineup, or anyone elses as you have so elloquently pointed out. Oh, but I will teach my one and a half year old niece to sponge the shorebreak this summer, since she's not old enough to surf yet, but she'll sure as hell rip it with spinns and airs and....oh, that's it...all the while wearing my helmet, you know, just in case I fall getting off the short bus at 48th St.

    Toodles

    Chilli21,

Yes 5 times...and yes they are all close to each other with the exception of Mal Pais. Never said i was RAD you did! I don't need to verbally say how i can shred. (never once on this forum did i state my surfing abilities) I let my surfing talk for me. Your suggestion has already been done several times buddy.... in march. I'm way ahead of you... So if your trying to give me advise....don't bother. i was probably surfing soup bowls when you were still pooping in your diapers. It's obvious Iv'e been around alot longer than you and have way more experience

FYI i goto the carib mostly year in march.
