Yep. It is just silly to take sides when both are killing innocent civilians. I also second the RIP comment. Robin Williams was one of the best improv comedians ever.

 

The way he died is just horrible. Its one thing to lose someone , but when it's from suicide, dam, it's even worse. It's sucks to be depressed, you feel like your in small, dark room that's slowly getting smaller. People tell that it's fine, that it will blow over but you can't bring yourself to believe them. You'll start to feel like you have no choice. It's freaking horrible man.

This one thing will always derail the true message, turning what is supposed to be "Good News" (that is what "Gospel" means) into something else, even distasteful. If Christ's unconditional love for all people is not manifested in and through "believers", what they say & do, then they are just a very annoying sound (cf. 1 Cor 13 "noisy gong & a clanging symbol"). Believers need to get out of the way of what truly is an outstanding message of faith, hope & love -- not one of fear, guilt, and shame. Otherwise they become an offense and stumbling block and obscure and malign a simple and wonderful truth.
