Okay, so Santa brought me a GoPro for Christmas. I know I am a little late to the game. I'll try to only add cool videos and not the annoying sheete. Ha Ha. Once I learn how to use it.
swim out and shoot up the line. That guy who used to post on here - cant remember screen name - gets really good footage and stills. board mounted = waste of time.

I was gonna use it but never felt right bringing a camera in the water. But, I'm looking at the new Solo Shot camera.
GoPro ranks as the worst tech purchase I've ever made. Used it once and gave it to the kids. They rarely even use it. The best part of GoPro is when you see the mount on someone else's board you know its OK to drop in on them.
Dont. Its a proven fact based on empirical observation that they make you surf like a complete idiot.
I learned many years ago that a video camera is more fun to want to have than to actually have and use. Even so, I bought a GoPro a few years ago and I have another my wife found on the beach. I do use it but usually just on small days goofing around with friends. I find it often tends to become a distraction when surfing. I hate the view from board mounts so I use a Ho Stevie mouth mount. Seriously, it works well. But mostly the cam just sits around unused.
