So, I know that over by downtown wilmington, a bunch of gators hang out on the old ships off the cape river. Does carolina beach, and the masonboro area have gators on the bayside? Like down off of canal in carolina beach. Is that all salt water from the ocean? Can you wakeboard etc in it?

I've wakeboarded in Snows Cut, the waterway around CB, and I've tubed all around wrightsville, in and out of the little cuts and around Sailboat Hotel. I don't think you'll have any problem.

Thanks. I mean, I know they can make there way into pretty much anywhere, but i heard its not very common down there. I have lived in a few places by the sea, but none of those locations has ever had Gators... I was more curious cause I have a black lab... I am picturing him swimming on the bayside of CB with a gator charging behind him =)

    thanks for the info tho.
