When there's no rocks. and one has somehow been disconnected from board. has anyone else scratched the sand to stop the shore bound drag?
YES! All the time in the summer .. I feel like it works, but not something i'd be willing to share on an online forum
Ive grabbed sand at black quite a few times, but that is to avoid the incoming wets when you end up inside in the impact zone on a big day. Its not really to avoid getting pulled to the beach, but the turbulence explodes above you and the safest place to me is on the sea floor if you can get down fast enough
