I am all for police shooting graffiti "artists" when they are doing their "art" where it is not welcome.
But in your own backyard, on your own property--go for it!!

I hate that Graffiti is looked at in such of a negative way I never understood why they could never make it legal on the walls of highways or under overpasses it brings so much life, creativity, culture, and art to a area instead of just old boring colors and now it's dying out which sucks..... but w/o going into all of that here's some throwies in an old black book of mine wasn't the best but I loved to get creative and do what I want KIMG0324.jpg

graffiti is frowned upon because it symbolizes that the city/town/state that gave up.its an "eyesore" lol I like seeing colorfull paintings on highways and stuff but not the civilians and policia.

I heard something many years ago about the cops in nyc battling the graffers.they said thieves would go out at night looking for a spot to do some crime, and when u come into a neighborhood where every wall is tagged,it must be an easy target.nobody cares.

the days of graff are dead and gone.now anybody painting, they are doing legal walls, spending 1000$ on cans,etc..that's like surfing in a wavepool for the rest of ur life,a nice safe controlled environment, instead of going to rack cans, hop fences, and destroy ****

Hey Fun Guy already made a thread tread aboot this topic...you know where he bought paint and wrote on legal walls

Yeah that ain't graffiti so that's that

Real graffiti is theft, vandalism and drugs

Barry McGee aka TWIST is one cool dude

He was in the city for a few weeks last fall with the ICY bruhs

Hey he even surfed your home town MIS

probably already know this, but check out Exit Through the Gift Shop. That guy Sheppard, who did Obama hope video, lives around my parts so it was kinda cool seeing his art in the video. Not exactly graffiti, but "vandalism" at its finest

Bruh you burning bangers of dust and huffing your paint

Hey that's Barry McGee's art work in that pic and not his graffiti work

image.jpg no body mention neckface? Idk squat about graffiti but he is classic imo. So many good thrasher, baker, etc. ads. I guess you guys might consider his stuff controlled art but he def has done great graffiti. Watched in interview years ago where he told a story about getting chased at night while doing a huge tag or something along those lines. And he can skate

Back in the seventies there was a news special about outlaw graffiti artists spraying the subway cars in New York. The had a guy show them how it was done. He was all masked and his voice was altered. Being a dumb kid I was convinced I could do it and went into the shed, took out all the rattle cans, went to the side of our metal shed and got to work. An hour later I was done. It was the most pathetic mess ever created. I threw out the cans and forgot about it until a few weeks later when I heard my mom shrieking my name from the back yard.
