People can't even say thank you anymore, the right way. See I've been telling people the world sucks these days. Not just you people but I got a soapbox in public places scattered around South Jersey and Philly. Oh smack, Spicoli, some lady got shot in a hospital in your favorite SE PA town - Chester. She was laying in her hospital bed and POP, a stray bullet came through ze window and hit her. Man, no where is safe. Anywayswho, see you know the world sucks when the ultimate optimist and nice guy, Gruvi, is getting jaded. That's a bad sign..........a bad sign.............
I am losing faith in the perception of goodness I had about the peeps on CI for sure. It is messed up too because it is the money brought in by tourism that they don't seem to realize, gives them some semblence of a life, and they are utter ****s to tourists here. It is getting worse, the locals attitudes here, each passing year. Some people here are exempt but I am seeing ones I believed were cool, are actually self serving ****heads. Plus, OMG, they are soooooo lazy here and have no remorse if they take money from you for a job they commit to, and then either do a poor job, or don't complete it at all and feel it is easy to ignore you and get away with my cash, the losers! I will be spending my money off island from now on, especially the grocery shopping (a Walmart in pocomoke wins out), because when I am in line spending over $50 on very little crap, and I have to be first to say hello and smile, and all I get back is a sour puss look and an unintelligible reply (but she smiles and chit chats with the kid in line behind me cause he is local with a lame crew cut), that is enough to tell Gruvi things are a mess in the world. Most people are simply ignorant, unhappy assholes.
