I was curious to know if anyone had been to Guadeloupe for a surf trip? I know the Carribean is better in the winter, I have been to Barbados and Dominican Republic. I was wondering what Guadeloupe was like in terms of consistency/crowds/cost etc. Any help would be helpful, thank you.

Most of the swell to this part of the Caribbean is coming from the trade swell from the east, so the easterly exposed areas of the island should pick up swell. I dont, however, no anything about the breaks.

There are also occasionally large N/NW swells that can sneak in to areas of the island during the winter.
