Sweet waves already this evening, hopefully everybody on here can get some sick waves where ever you are tomorrow!
where was this if you dont mind me asking? my dad just moved down to tarpon springs, is it any near there? just curious if i should ever bring a board down?
this is at Lido Key, near Sarasota. I don't really know the surrounding area that well so I'm not sure if its close or not.. but yea bring a board down, it gets fun down here
Definitely bring a board down, you never know when a swell like this will pop up for a few days. Tarpon springs is about an hour or so away from where these pics are from. There are waves from Clearwater down through St. Pete if you hit the right spots which are a lot closer to Tarpon. I've never surfed any further North than Clearwater but i'm sure there is something up in that area too, just gotta ask around.
I go to Bradenton, Anna Maria and Holmes Beach all the time. It's hit or miss on the left coast here but it's worth it when you love it as much as the guys around here do.
