I heard from someone in Seaside that when he was on top he yelled about needing help and such and that is why they arrested him

Just another example of the pussification of America...

If we were the "Home of the Brave", he would be praised, not arrested.

It's still the home of the brave but has been taken over by a bunch of polititions who won't be happy until they have taken away every freedom we have and have the constitution banned. Ooops did I say that out loud?

this may be true for the package the senate passed, but the $9 approved by the house (after a huge outcry by nj & ny legislators, gov. christie, & others...which is where the quote from rep. king is from) is one page. yet 67 representatives still voted against it.
my point being: pork or not, playing politics or "making a statement" w/ disaster relief is pathetic & reprehensible.

The non sandy stuff was $400 million bucks in a $60 billion bill. I suck at math, but I know that's not a majority.

Or you could read a little more and research. Besides, I said Obama wasn't to blame. He had nothing to do with the content of the bill. It's not my democrats anyways, dumbass. I am not a liberal or a conservative. When members of the Republican Party decide to leave the party over this, I would say it is pretty easy to see that the "no" votes were bull****.

(again), regardless, playing politics or "making a statement" instead of approving aid when it's needed is pathetic & reprehensible. the congressmen & women in question should be ashamed of themselves.

Agreed. This should not have been a political game.

FU republican. The republican party ran this ship aground (USA). Shouldn't you be busy screwing over some American citizens right now to pay for your summer home?

i heard on the radio this morning on my way home from the gym that he was charged w/ "disorderly conduct", presumably b/c he crossed a police line to get to the coaster. the report also said that they are going to go easy on him & that he surrendered peacefully.

& so goes my attempt to right this ship before it jumps the tracks & gets deleted.

Why the political fight on this site? Haven't we learned that nobody is going to win this fight? There are both Dems and Reps on this site and they both believe they're right. It's just going to go back and forth with mudslinging and nobody will change their opinion...

Fact is they're ALL scumbags. Both sides.. If something good happens the Pres did it and takes the credit... But when things go wrong "I didn't create this mess. I inherrited it." It's all BS and if you can't see that you're blind. Or you're a sheep that follows their herd no matter what.

I agree 100%. Sorry I don't have the time or patience to express every thought via text message. I am neither party. I only care about our citizens.

I rarely show up in threads but comments like this annoy me. If you're going to pass information along, make sure you know the facts.

The bill in question, in its entirety:

Your source is wrong and you are blindly embracing the lie. Your perception is not reality.

the sandy bill was heavy on the democrat pork... Bonehead was right to question it eventhough the masses thought it was 100% hurricane relief.
