I'm thinking about saving up for an H-Bomb this summer. I know it's pricey but this is going to be one of my last years not having to worry about bills and such I think this would be the best time. It's made out of the same material as the E-Bomb which I heard is good but I never knew anybody who had it to tell me if the reviews are accurate. I do have my mind pretty set on it but I'm not sure if I want a 3-2 and then I'd just buy a vest with a hood, or a 4-3 with the attached hood.

one of my buddies has the 4/3.. we were out on a freezing morning about a month ago, and i was starting to get chilly in my 5/4 mutant... he was sweating on the low heat setting. Needless to say, he loves his... and i was jealous haha

haha nice, how does he like the movement with it? I've never worn a 4-3, let alone a good 4-3

would you consider buying a solid 4-3 in conjunction with the Quicksilver Cypher heated vest?

I think the H-bomb is like $1000 or maybe more?

You can get a brand new 4-3 for about $200 if you look around and then get the heated vest for $150 to $200 and you will save some money.

The cypher vest doesnt work as well as many think and has low battery life. Ripcurl is currently developing their h-bomb tech into a vest/jacket that can be worn under the suit. My boss has the H-Bomb 4/3 and loves the thing, but the suit is around 2 years old and the first generation, so i would wait and see what comes out for the 2012 winter season, might be better and cheaper.

sick, didn't know rip curl is making a vest. Hopefully soon there will be more products like this.

Drive the price down and better technology.

to me, a $1000 suit is gonna have to be a whole lot thinner/more flexible than the $300 5 mil suit i'm already comfortable in. No way i'm coughing up an extra $700 to go from a warm 5/4/3 to a hot 4/3 that i need to remember to recharge between sessions.
