New crab species discovered in the Arctic. Apparently lives near thermal vents. Pretty fockin rad. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/2015/06/150624-new-species-yeti-crab-antarctica-oceans/ Impacting the Coast For Undiscovered Crustaceans.
And it makes me wonder. How much of earth we've yet to unearth. Have you seen the arctic shark? Dwellers of the iceberg's womb are one with a completely different spiral than us land bound crawlers. Thank you. That's a crabby thumbs up btw
^^^^ Ever watch Planet Earth, Life, or Blue Planet. Specifically the ones on the deep ocean. Really really cool stuff. But there's deffinitly things that hasn't been discovered down there. Some of those things down there are straight up alien like. My lady got a 10 disc box set of Planet Earth/Life on Amazon for pretty cheap. If your into that sort of thing I suggest checking it out, I'd much rather watch that than the crap on tv these days. So many strange species. It's a big works out there. Nice post seldom!
Absolutely. I think I've caught it once on NatGeo Wild channel, right about the time they were talking about these guys: Apparently one of the oldest species on the planet. Great stuff. There is also a show where they attach a gopro to a variety of animals and try to see "through their eyes" so to speak... I dunno if I agree with tranquilizing a cheetah twice (first time to put on the cam and the second to get it back) but the footage was awesome. They a attacked a gopro with a light to a deep sea dwelling squid and it kept getting attacked by other squid and flashing bright body stripes - defense mechanism I think. Now... My senses were fairly enhanced at the time, but that was some intense stuff man. Like getting devoured by cracken at a techno party. Weird stuff. Don't remember the exact name of the show though...
Thanks fellers, glad you enjoyed...I mean, it's surf related in a way, and for fock's sake, named the hairy chested yeti crab. I wish we were called that instead of just, "humans".
