My Fellow Friends, Ocean Lovers and Surfers

    I need your help.
I ask that you show up at your New Jersey beach at 11 AM on Saturday June 26th and join hands at noon for 15 minutes.
Why?...Just a little reminder to our neighbors down in the gulf that we support them and
to let our elected officials know that offshore drilling is not the answer.
I've attached a link for the New Jersey locations....

Not political just trying to protect my beach..
Please try to get the word out

right because meaningless symbolism trumps action any day.

Seriously, why not organize to head to the gulf to help the clean up?

it's not that easy. I've got a few friends who have been trying for weeks to help out down in the gulf and they can't find an organization to volunteer with. The hazzards are too great to let any joe schmo out to clean the oil. I'm sure there will be a need for volunteers, but right now, they are only looking for skilled workers. So for those of us who can't physically help, at least we get a chance to feel like we're doing something, even if it is only symbolic.
