For sure the shooter is responsible for his actions. However, lots of people get encouragement from these so called "leaders." If you can't or won't believe that, we'll have to agree to disagree. Guys like Sharpton have made a career out of stoking the flames.

Many reasonable black folks agree with me. Because of an unwritten "code" in the community, they will rarely say it to an outsider.

I was banging a jamaican chick for about a yr she was super hot, really cool, uninhibited and had a sex drive that could kill a goat with 3 cocks. I dont know about not going back cause I like all flavors but she was definitely top 3. I've sampled most flavors except hindu (I leave them to the shred) and Asian (for the life of me as hard as I try, I can never get Asians to f me) and they all taste good.

Sharpton disgusts me because he stokes the flames saying hes there to empower people and protect their rights when hes really empowering his wallet and protecting his bank account.

    He's a Ho.

There's just so many wonderful people of all colors in this world. I just wish we all weren't so hostile to each other. I could go on forever, but I won't. Like I said, it's real personal to me. Try responding to your mixed race kids when they ask "Why do they say these bad things about me Dad?"

I'm sorry, but this is too much for me at the moment.

I feel for your kids, other kids can be really mean and when you're little you don't have thick skin yet. Tell your kids that the other kids are insecure with their own qualities and your kids should just remember that all that matters is what they think and know of themselves not what the other kids think.

I know its not a racial example, more of a class one but similar... Kids were busting my sons balls all the time because we are like middle class living in a super rich town so here its like we are poor in the rich peoples eyes. He took it to heart for the first 4 yrs we lived here had no self confidence and would basically do whatever to try and get acceptance from these little spoiled pricks. I worked on him for a while with the who cares what others think you know you are awesome they are just breaking you down to cover for their own self doubt. I also got him in the water a lot and involved with sports. Over time his self confidence became so strong, now he doesn't pay attention to the kids who pick on other kids, it just rolls off his back.

Hope your kids can learn to tune out the idiots. I wish them and you the best.

Thanks, dude. It's all good. My kids are all grown now. I have 7 grandkids. My kids all grew up to be kids any Dad would be proud of. We had lots, LOTS of long talks, and they rose above the crap. Now they're teachin their kids. I just got a bit caught up in some old memories. Thanks again to U2B for a great laugh about feral Russki barn cats. Snapped me right out of it.

    :)

That could be a problem with most people. Its not uncommon for humans to allow their emotions to drive their actions. Most people could be expecting a person of power, whether its a president, law enforcement, rights movement leader, etc to clarify their feelings. In every aspect of everything, people disagree, people dont feel as if their leader is doing enough, and people react to emotion and all the sudden you have an argument, two or more sides, left vs right, etc etc etc.

To those who feel one person is the answer to solving conflict, you are right, that person is you. Look inwards and realize you reaction on emotion isnt going to sit well with some people.

I never can understand when you hear "so and so should or should not step in and do something." Why? So he can cause more civil unrest, because he doesnt have split personality disorder?

Look at whats happening in Brooklyn, the NYC mayor made a comment around how he couldn't believe the officer in the gardner case received no charges, and now all of nypd wants him to step down.

I think this is an outdated view of Sharpton, based on events 25+ years ago. These days he largely channels existing anger into showy (and many people on the left would argue ineffective) mass protests. There is a reason there was no rioting in NYC after the Eric Garner decision, just like there wasn't rioting after Ramarley Graham was shot in his bathroom, or Sean Bell was shot at his bachelor party, or Amadou Diallo was shot on his front steps, or Abner Louima was sodomized with a nightstick.

Al Sharpton also had nothing to do with the chant mentioned, and frequently denounces people like that as "outside agitators."

If we are assigning blame for a mentally ill man's actions, I think some of it has to go to people like this

Who appear gleeful at a man's death, and gladly wear shirts mocking his last words. Think how this would effect you if you looked at Eric Garner and saw your uncle or cousin or father.

when your police department shills out almost half a billion a year in police abuse settlements, you know there is some payback coming.

    Dear Ho Community,

I, Paulie in Galveston, would like to offer my most sincere apology for calling Al Sharpton a Ho. That has brought undue shame and dishonor to Hoes worldwide. He is something far worse, perhaps the stinky poop of feral Russian barn cats. You know, the type that gets in the lug soles of your brand new boots, and stinks from here to Odessa.

Once again, to all members of the oldest profession on earth, please accept my heartfelt apology.

Just like the reappearance of Chinney and Butch. They're minions have been slandering for so long they felt it was all right to admit to torture.

No one rioted in NYC becasue that is not some little po dunk hick town like Ferguson, and their cops would have know how to handle it and the protestors knew it. In addition I see no one in that photo looking gleeful, I see folks showing the other side of the story, that when you disobeyed an officer bad things can and do happen.

I believe that if Brown had been white and taken the same actions the results would have been the same. If Garner had been a huge redneck white boy and done the same thing we saw on the video I still think the officer would have lost his cool for him not complying with his commands and put the choke hold on him.

In both of those cases I think that too much force may have been used for the particular situation (Brown's case I believe fear played into the officer unloading 6 shots on him, Garners I think it was macho wanna be a badass syndrome that casued the cop to use the choke hold) but in neither case do I think it was based on race.

Oh and for the record I am ordering one of those T- Shirts if the shop down the road is still sold out.

tink some have got wrong take on garner.
arrested 30x; before they choked him they said "how bout u go easy this time?"
he said no thanks; i'll grandstand.
    boy, did he ever.

u tink selling single cigs on the corner is just a tiny crime?
what about abu at the corner quicky mart who pays rent that pays for building/taxes/insurance?
why should THAT SLUG be allowed to undercut the honest businessman?
and you know that abu was the one that called.
    just like the 30x previous.

garner begged repeat begged for what happened to him.
thats without even getting into his health issues.

choke holds are banned by NYPD, thats enough to at least terminate the officer
