you are right little Ricky, I guess they steal the money in some other form aside from roadside robbery, I am guessing taxes.

Brew, I was back there last Christmas. typically all the guidos stick to OCO and MOCO

My childhood neighbor is an undercover statie in the casinos, he was such a jerk off, he found the perfect job

I guessing property tax is through the roof there. That would be a more likely source of funding, at least to me.

At least it is property tax, which is something more kosher to the libertarian mindset. Unlike the income tax, it is actually linked closer to the things you buy and own.

i GREATLY prefer income or sales tax (if income it should be a flat tax)

In lieu of throwing my tv through my neighbor's window and burning his tool shed, I write :

Malpractice in any profession needs to be held accountable (some one earlier, maybe BE, wrote a decent list of 7 items for police). Police do not have an easy job, and as has already been stated, there are good police and some bad police. Just because there are some quack doctors is no reason to condemn the medical profession. Fred Gray’s loss of life (or anyone’s) is tragic; however, we still do not know what happened. The destruction, vandalism, and looting are senseless and do not necessary affect the alleged culprits in this case (or any other case of police malpractice).

Life is not fair. There are and will always be inequalities. That does not imply we should not do our best to rectify those we can. Nevertheless, this cannot be an excuse that prevents one from laying hold of the opportunities that do exist and to do what is right.

The individual who can do something that the world wants done will, in the end, make his way regardless of his race.
    Booker T. Washington

I think all people need to consider the words of this person, born into slavery, who should be viewed as an honorable and wise man, whose words could speak to the issues our day.

I have recently been enjoying his quotes:
    http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/b/booker_t_washington.html

Some people are “rationalizing” and even justifying destructive behavior because of the “inequalities”. I think their tune would change when the angry mod starts busting up their windows and setting their houses on fire.

Finally, the leadership’s willingness to “give space to destroy” is a failed policy (Best of luck stuffing that genie back into the bottle). Alternatively, decisive action to identify and stop the agitators and those initiating criminal activity would squelch those who tend to follow suit (I realize I get to assert this from the cheap seats). As a parent, if I have a child who is throwing a tantrum, I will do what is necessary to prevent the destruction of property, and establish a proper example. I don’t have the resources to buy new lamps (or whatever) resulting from emotional outbursts. Neither do our municipalities. The monetary cost of this mess will be high, as well as cost of the confusion about respect, community, and other important virtues.

No ****, **** Tracy. You have repeated, basically, exactly what I was alluding to. But, I have more of an optimist position than your negativity--ie, there is a solution to PRs problem and Baltimores as well.

Holy Mack-a-Rell-Sun, e got a real honest thread here huh?

    Haven't read a nothing.

Monday night I was watching the looting on CNN and thought, "Hmm I wonder if The Weather Channel is having any special weather coverage...."

    So I flipped channels...

"...yes, it will be a crisp night in Baltimore for any one thinking of doing some late night rioting, so dress warmly. the winds have died but temps will drop into the lower 40's, kind of cold for a late April night......"(Dave Shwartz)

"...They should have waited until next month.."(Jim Cantore)

    (Laughs)

"Well, tonight should not provide much wind assistance in spreading fires.....so it may make the work on part of the rioters a bit more difficult.....

Well, your local on the 8's is up next and we will be back after these words...."

Hey, I hope the dope in Baltimore is ok. North Ave, from what I hear, is a dope street.

    Hey where's ZACH 619???
